LAND BACK

Tkaron:to

Toronto is situated on the traditional territory of many Indigenous nations, including the Mississaugas of the Credit, the Anishinaabe, the Chippewa, the Haudenosaunee and the Wendat peoples. Today, Toronto is home to many First Nations, Inuit and Métis peoples. We acknowledge the enduring presence of Indigenous peoples and their ongoing relationships with this land.

Naarm

Melbourne, known as Naarm in the Woi-wurrung language, is located on the unceded lands of the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin Nation. We acknowledge the Wurundjeri people as the Traditional Owners of this land and pay our respects to Elders past and present. We recognise the continuing connection of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples to Country, culture and community, and acknowledge that sovereignty was never ceded.
