NEXT RELEASE FROM ANA TELES | SUNDAY 05.07.26 12PM PDT
We first discovered Ana Teles in the early hours of the morning at Shipwrecked Festival in Aotearoa. At the newly introduced Tortuga Stage, she joined Felipe Martinez for a B2B that quietly transformed the dancefloor. The selections were deep, patient and completely immersive, unfolding with a sense of trust that kept everyone locked in. There was something difficult to explain in the air that morning. A feeling that everyone was sharing the same moment. We knew before the set had even finished that we wanted to invite Ana to Fale FM.
Born in Brazil and now based in Melbourne, Australia, Ana Teles crafts sets that balance precision with unpredictability. Blending hypnotic techno, deep house and euphoric flashes of trance, her selections move effortlessly between darker textures and moments of warmth, always driven by thoughtful progression.
Her journey into DJing began through promoting her own club nights in Aotearoa, where she supported the local scene and developed her musical taste along the way. During this time, she founded her own party and mix series, Stereophonic NZ, creating a platform for like-minded artists and selectors. Her growth as an artist has led to performances at festivals including Shipwrecked, AUM, Adrift and Cape Estate, as well as hosting internationally respected artists such as Eddie Richards (UK), Youandewan (UK) and Per Hammar (SWE), among many others. Whether performing solo or alongside her partner, DJ and producer Felipe Martinez, Ana brings a refined, immersive energy that invites listeners to settle into the journey rather than race toward the destination.
For her Fale FM debut, Ana presents π πΎππΉπ ππΆππ ββ΄οΈΛqβπ π π π π. Rindu laut is an Indonesian phrase that captures the feeling of missing the sea, an emotion that lingered after returning to Melbourne from two months travelling across Southeast Asia, straight into the heart of winter. Drawing from that experience, Ana dug deep into her collection to create the kind of dancefloor journey she was craving herself. The result is a beautifully paced mix that drifts between euphoria and introspection, carrying the warmth of distant coastlines into colder days.
We believe Ana Teles is an artist with something truly special, and we're honoured to welcome her into the Fale FM Aiga.
