Created exclusively for the 2026 imagineNATIVE Film + Media Arts Festival in collaboration with Fale FM, Movement is a two-hour mix designed to capture the energy, momentum, and celebration at the heart of contemporary Indigenous creativity.

Built around rhythm-forward selections, electronic textures, dancefloor influences, and genre-defying Indigenous artists, the mix reflects the diversity and innovation that imagineNATIVE champions through its annual presentation of Indigenous-made audio, film, digital, and interactive works from creators around the world.

Movement is designed for moments when the energy in a space begins to build, including after-hours gatherings, social events, and festival celebrations where music becomes a catalyst for connection. Presented as a complete listening experience rather than a collection of individual tracks, the mix embodies Fale FM's belief that sound can shape atmosphere, bring people together, and become part of the identity of a cultural experience.

Through this collaboration, Fale FM and imagineNATIVE celebrate Indigenous storytelling not only through visual and digital media, but also through the power of music to move people, communities, and culture forward.
